Before you write

A few things that solve most problems:

• Lost progress? Read the next section — there's a way to protect against this, and it's worth doing now rather than later.
• Game feels stuck? Close the app fully and reopen it. If a specific thing reliably breaks, tell me exactly what you did before it happened.
• Reporting a bug? Include your device model and iOS version, and your save code if you can still reach it. It makes the difference between me guessing and me fixing it.

Backing up your progress

Solaprise saves to your device, not to a server — there's no account, so nothing is stored anywhere else. That means progress lives and dies with the app on that device.

Open the save menu and use Export to get a save code: a long block of text holding your whole empire. Keep it somewhere safe — a note, an email to yourself. If you delete the app, switch phones, or something goes wrong, Import that code to pick up where you left off.

If you delete the app without a save code, that progress is genuinely gone. I can't recover it, because I never had a copy.
